Makew group: water supply/no irrigation canals

Makew Women's Group: Irrigation is from a stream on the edge of the fields. An irrigation system has not been created and there are no canals supplying the fields. Therefore to irrigate the fields farmers break the banks of all fields between their farm and the water supply.

As such some fields may be flooded whilst some fields may be dry. At times as the river floods fields may be drowned.
